What Is Good Background Music?

Im DJ'ing this banquet tonight, its a very big deal, and its at a hotel ballroom. I am supposed to play background music for like an hour, and i dont know some good songs. What are some good songs to play as background music, like Jazz, and some slower songs with vocals. Please Reply!! THANKS!
