Year ago myself and items unknowingly contaminated with human feces didnt track so not cleaned. dirty now?

worked in hotel, had done shifts afetr guy pooped himself and on floor. i didnt find out til 2 days after when i had to serve him stinking of faeces. he grabbed my hand and worried conatminated me and that i was filthy from working in environment where he had bn and people bn serving him etc. thought on shoes clothes mobile etc. bcos had worked without knowing this i didnt take precautions so thought contaminated everything id touched in my home. tried to clean but then thought hoover dirty etc. now year on and cant touch most of my belongings bcos dont know if faeces still be on them. it is such a problem bcos i was unaware of what had happened and would not have gone into work if id known. mum tidied up and put shoes and things in bag with other items and worried contamination has spread to hundreds of things.
