Is it bad to take a shower after using the computer?

My parents told me its bad to use the computer for a while then take a shower right after. My dad said "theres radioactive waves coming from the computer into your eyes and once you take a shower and the water goes to your eyes, they'll get damaged" and my mom added "its because your eyes are tired!" They don't make any sense. So I wanna know if its really bad? At the most, I use the computer for about 2 hours straight. If I use it again on the same day I usually wait a couple of hours before using it again. & my face isnt really close to the screen either.
