Should I take the SAT or the ACT?

Most schools are accepting the ACT but some East coast schools prefer the SAT... check out the websites for schools you are thinking about applying to and make your decision from there... however many highschools in areas where colleges request ACT scores...they make taking the ACT mandatory.... because they ume you will apply to a local school that needs them...
