If im certified in CPR, than do i still have to take the cl in school?

okayz i go to a catholic elementary school (K-8) and im in 7th grade now *yay!* and i think were gonna learn CPR sometime this year, and i got certified last month. do you think MAYBE if i show my CPR (aka homeroom) teacher my certification card, than maybe shell at LEAST let me just help out, instead of take the cles?
