How to ignore the feelings?

im OBSESSED with this guy in my homeroom and he knows it. he liked me at one point but doesnt like making the first move. he just broke up with his girlfriend. i asked one of my guyfriends to ask him if he would ever ask me out or even like me again and he said no... :( how can i ignore/get rid of the feelings of being obsessed with him?? everytime i see him my heart melts........
