Do I have asthma?? Help? ?

Lately I have had a horrible cough, And at times it would worsen and I can't breathe, Mostly from my nose, so I would try to breathe with my mouth but I would just begin to wheeze, I would get oxygen. But the tightness in my chest was unbearable after. I have gone to the doctor, And she gave me amoxicillin, and an inhaler, I have finished the medications she gave me, But at random times the same thing would happen again, My mother has found a way for me to breathe easier when this happens, She just gets a light cloth and puts it over my nose And mouth, And I can breathe easier, After I can breathe I begin to belch. The tightness in my chest hasnt happened since I do this. But it's really starting to interfere with my daily life, please help?
