Ugg question?? (details in question)?

Okay, i have short chestnut uggs, theyre childrens sizes, if that changes anything. one day in like march of this year i was wearing them and was outside and it was raining a lot. they got soaked, and it looked like they werent brown but black. that was 6 months ago, and now they still fit me but they just arent soft anymore. the inside and the outside. Is there any way to make them soft again, or is it too late??
