Need some answers....?

I recently had an extremely strange dream in which I was first mentally tortured by these horrible visions and after swearing this thing off of me. When I looked to my right, there was an old victorian lady standing next to me, I then spoke with the lady and she asked something from me. I was literally drained by this experience when I woke up, and it took me quite a while to gain my energy. I was later contacted by my friend stating she wanted to go ghost hunting that night and there was an old victorian lady that had died in the 1800's and she wanted to see if we could get some activity. This immediately peaked my curiousity and I ended up looking for this lady on the web for a photo and I found her in the photo! She was the wealthy plantation owner my friend wanted to find! I am baffled by this and want some answers as to what this could be? Was I visited by the ghost of this woman? Too strange of a coincidence, and the ghost didn't show.
