Are the American Legion members open to main stream religions or closed minded?

Muslim friend I take to American Legion noticed a picture of Jesus on the wall at the American Legion post and he would like to donate a picture of Mohammed and Allah to put on the wall but members looked like they were drinking strong lemonade. (The look on their face)
